GLORP
ingredients:
- 2 cups basmati rice
- one oven sheet's worth of lentils
- two cans of coconut milk
- two cans' worth of water
- two lil packs of cashews
- one can of chick peas
- one Tbsp coriander, thyme, salt
- ~ 1/2 Tbsp pepper (just eyeball it after the above three)
- at least 3 cloves garlic, lazy minced
- optional: throw some barley in, get extra texture variety
- optional: throw some other veg in, maybe celery or carrots? probably not onion, but green onion might be nice
put all the stuff in the big pot, set the stove to 4. stir a bunch, then do a bunch of 10-min timers and check & stir each time until it starts boiling. turn it down to 2 and keep stirring every few minutes. check the rice when stirring, if it's soft enough then the whole thing is done and you can eat it. add more water if it's starting to scorch but the rice isn't soft yet
